Our co-founder Nazmi Karyağdı at the 14th Bosphorus Summit
Our co-founder Nazmi Karyağdı participated as a speaker in the session titled "Winning and Losing with Law" at the 14th Bosphorus Summit held in Istanbul.
Providing information on "Tax Struggles in the Digital Age", Mr. Karyağdı stated that "In our age, there is a serious struggle between Revenue Administrations and multinational companies, as well as a struggle between States in this direction."
Nazmi Karyağdı emphasized that two main strategies are important for taxpayers in the tax struggle and stated that these are "Preventive/evaluative opportunity and risk management and a process management based on core values, experienced, honest and expert in tax inspection and dispute management."
Muhterem İlhan (Vodafone Turkey Legal Director) and Cem Uçan (Baker McKenzie Innovation Product Manager) participated as speakers in the session chaired by Av. A. Berhan Aytekin (Aytekin Law).
Organized by the International Cooperation Platform (ICP) for the 14th time this year with the theme "Welcoming the Next Century: Challenges and Prospects", the Bosphorus Summit attracted nearly 1000 participants from 57 countries.
